The Sandwich Run is much more than delivering food to street-involved people. It is a relational outreach during which meaningful communication can take place and bridges of trust are built to reach the people on the street.
For many years, Project 417 has resisted the need to collect a fee for the operation of the Sandwich Run. However, due to on-going and increasing operating expenses, combined with a sharp decrease in charitable donations, this is a necessary step to ensure that Project 417 will continue to provide your groups with an effective and rewarding ministry experience.
The $10 per person fee will help contribute to the following services:
Group Sandwich Runs usually take place on Friday and Saturday evenings in Toronto, and Saturday afternoons in Hamilton.
Check our Monthly Calendar for open dates.
Ideally, we like to keep the size of the group to a maximum of 35 people. If you are interested in coming on a day where another group has already booked, please ensure that the total combined numbers of both groups will not exceed 35.
Please email sandwichruns@project 417.com to book your group. When your sandwich run has been confirmed, we will advise you on the number of bagged lunches to bring.
What if I want to come as an individual?
