Project417 Programs

Project417 has active programs in the Toronto Area, across Canada and the U.S. We engage volunteers and guide them in meaningful programs which make a difference in local communities.

Our vision is to develop communities which are accessible to all who are in need. Our staff and volunteer leaders develop and implement programs and ministries which seek to enable people to move into healthier lifestyles. We are guided by our core values, which include -

People have priority over money, structures, systems and other institutions. We must act in ways that respect the dignity, uniqueness and intrinsic worth of every person. We will celebrate the richness of diversity in all humanity.

    Project417 Urban Adventures

: Short Term Missions - an urban, inner city experience - Project417 has been hosting urban missions teams to the inner city in Toronto since the 1980's but is now growing this ministry through Project417 Urban Adventures (UA). Urban Adventures will provide teams with the opportunity to come to Toronto and participate in a variety of urban outreach experiences. The goals of this program are to effectively serve the at-risk, low income communities we reach out to and to impact the worldviews and opinions of participants towards a more Christ centric view of the urban reality. UA provides Missions opportunities for groups that will be easy to plan and affordable for even modest budgets. We have UA programs especially relevant for youth groups.
